In this scientific poster presentation, delivered by Dr. Slawin at the Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association in 2008, our experience with ultrasensitive PSA to monitor patients after radical prostatectomy is described, and the advantages over standard PSA monitoring are outlined.

In this scientific study, submitted to the 2009 Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association, we examined the degree of improvement in quality of life in patients who achieved complete continence compared to those who had only a few drops of leakage within six weeks after robotic prostatectomy. We found that patients noticed a significant improvement between these two degrees of continence, even though most other centers group them as equal.

In this scientific study, submitted to the 2009 Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association, we examined patient attitudes after having undergone prostatectomy, both open and robotic, performed by Dr. Slawin. The study showed a high degree of satisfaction across the board in these patients.

In this study, presented by Dr. Slawin at the 2006 Annual Meeting of the American Urological Association, Dr. Slawin showed that selective application of various methods of radical prostatectomy led to positive surgical margin rates at least equivalent to published "best practice" rates achieved by only the top surgeons in the country, using both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
